ABOUT 

My name is Mariana Ríos, I'm a 26 years old Colombian hair and make-up artist with 7 years of experience working in the audiovisual industry. I have always been passionate about art and prior my education in makeup and hairstyling, from LaSalle College, it all started studying photography and then filmmaking where I was able to learn the beauty of creating characters and the power of transformation an artist can reach trough designing and tracing concepts on faces. 

 

Being able to learn from talented artist such as Nadia Kosh and Melizah Wheat helped me grow as an artist working at photoshoots, social events, music videos, plays, editorial, Advertising, films and tv shows and weddings doing both makeup design/application and hair as the key hairstylist for ECHO 3 - Apple TV.

I also have experience doing SFX and bodypaint, stunt wigs and artistic makeup. My goal is to continue preparing myself as an artist and grow in the world of film production with large companies.
