I’m Mar, a Miami-based makeup artist with a decade of experience shaping looks for film, television, and music videos.

 

I trained at LaSalle College in Makeup Artistry and have since built my career collaborating with directors, producers, and artists to create work that resonates on screen. My role goes beyond application: I craft looks that support storytelling, continuity, and vision.

 

My skill set spans from natural, camera-ready beauty to avant-garde transformations and SFX, allowing me to build characters from the inside out. I approach makeup as both a psychological and visual tool, something that communicates story, emotion, and identity as much as it enhances appearance.

 

Outside of set life, I explore fashion editorials and conceptual work, infusing each project with a distinctive, artistic touch. From clean, understated grooming to bold, transformative statements, my approach balances precision with imagination.
